Summary
GK Angadi Thermal Printer does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The app has
no user accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Information stored on your device
The app stores only what it needs to talk to your printers, and it never leaves your device:
- Printer profiles — printer name, connection address (Bluetooth, USB or network), paper size and print settings.
- An optional printer password, if your printer requires one. It is withheld from exported profiles by default.
- App preferences, such as whether the local web-printing server is switched on.
Documents and receipts you print are processed on the device and sent directly to your printer.
They are not stored by the app and are never uploaded anywhere.
Permissions and why they are used
- Bluetooth — to find and connect to the Bluetooth printer you choose.
- Location (Android 11 and older only) — Android requires this permission to scan for
Bluetooth LE printers. The app uses it only for printer discovery. Your location is never
read, stored or shared.
- Internet / local network — to reach a printer on your own network and to run the
optional local print server on your device. No data is sent to our servers or to any third party.
- Notifications — to show print progress and print failures.
- Foreground service — to keep a print job or the local print server running while you use
another app.
Data sharing
No data is shared with us or with any third party. The app contains no third-party SDKs for
advertising, analytics or crash reporting.
Children
The app is a business utility and is not directed at children.
Deleting your data
Delete a printer inside the app to remove its profile, or clear the app's data
(Settings → Apps → GK Angadi Thermal Printer → Storage → Clear data) to remove everything.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
Changes to this policy
Any change will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
